"Not all website services are created equal. I used to muddle through trying to do it myself but I don't have the technical skill and lately (with a growing family) I also don't have the time. I switched to having one of those big website service company take care of my website. That was a disaster! Not only did this other service charge me $1200 up front but then they charged me $95/hr each time I called them to make a change, even if I only spent 15 minutes with them. Their fees were killing me. Then I got a flyer from Tom (Erickson Web Designs) and the timing could not have been better. I felt stuck with all the money I had put into my previous service and at the same time was very frustrated feeling like I was being held hostage. Tom was a life saver for me. He helped me create my updated website and transferred my original website name out of the previous company's clutches.
